If you are arriving on a weekend, it might be useful to change currency at the airport as banks are closed Saturdays and Sundays. Please also note that there are various ATMs in the airport terminal and two bureau de change offices.

Macquarie University's friendly Meet and Greet team will be holding a Macquarie University sign to greet you and take you to your prearranged accommodation.
If you miss a connecting flight or your flight has been delayed, or there is nobody to meet you within 30 minutes, please:
A representative from Macquarie International will then advise you to either take a taxi or make another arrangement. Please make sure you have at least AU$100 in cash to pay for the taxi fare. Macquarie International will refuse payment of any taxi refunds unless you are specifically advised by the Macquarie International Office to take a taxi to your temporary accommodation.
Your luggage is your own responsibility. Porters are not available in airports and the University staff will be unable to assist you with luggage. Macquarie International is also unable to collect cargo for you. Do not ship luggage/boxes to Macquarie International, as there are no storage facilities available for this purpose.
