Parents Group
An initiative of Macquarie International, designed to bring families together from across different nations.
What is the Parents Group?
A Parents Group is a support network and social event for international students who have children. This Parents Group is run by the International Student Services at Macquarie International.
How will I benefit from the Parents Group?
The goal of the Parents Group is to have participation of as many families of
international students as possible, so that our target group of families can
benefit from this group.
This Parents Group gives our valued International Students as parents an opportunity to share their experience and tips with
each other and thus make new friends from around the world. Further, the children get an opportunity to play with a variety of toys and read books and have lots of fun together!
When is the event held?
Our first Parents Group Session was launched on 17th of March 2009, and was attended by a group of enthusiastic parents and their children, who were aged between one and eight. Due to the success of this first event, the Parents Group will be held every month.
