Mid Session Day Trips - Session 1, 2012

The International Student Services (ISS) team coordinates day trips to popular destinations outside the Sydney area during mid-session breaks.

This is a great opportunity to see a little more of Australia, meet other students and have some fun!

Canberra
Thursday 12 April and Wednesday 18 April 2012 | $25

See yourself in the Nation's Capital! Canberra is full of fantastic experiences for visitors.
Set within leafy surroundings, Canberra's attractions hold and share the treasures of our nation.
Tour the home of Australia's Parliament and drive past the embassies.
Visit the National Museum and unfold the Australian social history and finally visit Australia's War Memorial.

Are the mountains really blue? Come and see for yourself!
First stop Featherdale Wildlife Park to get close and cuddly with kangaroos and koalas.
Then on to the Blue mountains to check out the famous Three Sisters rock formation
Scenic World trip includes a Cableway and Railway ride in the Blue Mountains.
Jenolan Caves includes a spectacular tour of Lucas Caves.

Hunter Valley

Come join us for a beautiful day in the countryside taking tours of wineries and a cheese factory.
Included are demonstrations and tasting.


Hunter Valley is the most well known wine region in Australia.


South Coast

The unspoilt natural beauty of the southern coastline of New South Wales unfolds in a series of bays and coves. Get an opportunity to walk on the Sea Cliff Bridge and admire the panoramic view as you drive along the Grand Pacific Drive. At Kiama Blowhole experience the unusual rock formation spouting water high into the air, with a spectacular rush of water and sound. You will get the chance to visit Nan Tein temple. 


Port Stephens - Sand Boarding & Dolphin Watching

Jamberoo

Come and join us on this exciting trip! First stop Illawarra Fly Tree Top Walk. The walkway culminates at the Knights Tower, a spiral tower that rises breathtaking 45 meters above the forest floor.
