Macquarie University's International Scholarship Program is aimed at attracting outstanding students from around the world and recognising students who have distinguished themselves academically in their specific discipline. The scholarship is highly competitive and is awarded on the basis of academic merit.
There are up to 20 full and partial scholarships available each year for undergraduate students across all disciplines.

The ADS program is funded by the Australian Government as part of Australia's foreign aid program. The ADS provide partner countries with the opportunity to strengthen its human resource capacity through offering scholarships to individuals to undertake tertiary studies in Australia in areas relevant to the development needs of the country. ADS are available for undergraduate, postgraduate and research studies. There are a limited number of undergraduate scholarships available.
The ADS are available to students from the following countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, East Timor, Fiji, Indonesia, Kenya, Kiribati, Laos, Lesotho, Malawi, Maldives, Mongolia, Mozambique, Namibia, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tonga, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Vietnam, Zambia.
