The Australian University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP)The Australian University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) Program is an initiative of the Australian Department of Education, Science and Training designed to encourage student mobility within the region. Each year Macquarie University applies for UMAP scholarships to assist students with the costs of participating in the exchange program with partner institutions.
UMAP scholarships are available for a variety of countries and institutions and vary each year. Scholarships are available to successful exchange applicants participating in undergraduate programs.

Macquarie University Research Excellence Scholarships (MQRES)The Macquarie University Research Excellence Scholarships (MQRES) is available to fund postgraduate PhD students of exceptional research promise as they undertake their postgraduate research in the University’s identified concentrations of research excellence. International applicants will receive tuition funding for the tenure of their award (up to three and a half years).

Coptic Studies ScholarshipsMacquarie University is pleased to offer two scholarships for International Students to study online in the Master of Arts program in Coptic Studies for the academic years 2012-2013. The Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and cover international tuition fees for study in the M.A in Coptic Studies degree (total value: $AUD 22,000-24,000). Applications from international students from all countries will be accepted, however, for one scholarship, preference will be given to eligible candidates from Egypt.
