Why did you decide to study abroad?

Studying and working abroad are important for German students. It is very important to speak English well, and it is impressive to have work experience from abroad. It looks very good on your CV.

What have you thought of your experience?

My time here has been incredibly good. I have made so many friends and I really love Sydney . I enjoyed my studies very much, but working full-time has given a whole other dimension to my stay here. On my way to work on the morning train I actually feel like a local and part of the society, rather than just a tourist.

What are your plans for the future?

I am definitely planning to come back to Australia , maybe already during my next summer break. This experience has made me realise that the world is open to you and you just have to make the effort to leave from your safe surroundings. I think I have changed quite a lot and really expanded my horizons during the last eight months.
