Irene: We knew that for Business and Commerce, you come to Macquarie - it has a renowned Business school. There are so many options for Commerce students - you can major in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting…
Emma: I chose to do Japanese at Macquarie because Macquarie has more opportunities for students to go on exchange than any other university, and every student gets a Travel Grant. I spent one year on exchange at Sophia University in Tokyo , and am now fluent in Japanese.
Irene: I loved the food here! I also joined all the different groups, like the Christian group. It was so different - you don't get that at high school.
Irene: When I was looking for a job I found that graduates from Macquarie were highly regarded by employers - it only took two weeks to get a job!
Emma: In the beginning I was interested in tourism, and it is easy to get a job if you are tri-lingual. At Macquarie International, because I speak Chinese and Japanese, I can help new students a lot.
