I chose Macquarie because I had read it was one of the most prestigious universities for economics in the Asian region. It was a very cool interesting place to be. The staff is very dynamic and committed to their work, I really learnt a lot.
My expectations were overwhelmed by the real life experience. There is something about living abroad that goes beyond studying and learning; it's about knowing yourself, maturing, making friends, and many other things. Even though you may be fearful of change or afraid of going by yourself, the experience of living abroad and studying in another country is worthwhile. And I am sure that by the end you would want to stay longer!
