Why did you choose Macquarie?
I was accepted by a few universities in Sydney. I researched Macquarie's background and found it had developed from a research institute. As I was doing research, I thought it'd be a strong team to support my project. All the people in the Division of Law, the professors, staff, and Dean, are like my family. They are very friendly and have given me lots of help.
What challenges have you faced during your time at Macquarie?
The (different) language was difficult at first, especially as law requires high language skills... But now Macquarie feels like my Australian home, especially the Division of Law. During the years there have been lots of difficulties, but when I turn back every memory is beautiful.
Any advice to prospective students?
I hope Chinese students can study other things (apart from Accounting and Commerce), because if you work really hard and if you have a good campus like Macquarie, you can do it and it's worth it.
