Macquarie University is located in Sydney, Australia just 30 minutes drive from the centre of the city. The campus is set on 135 hectares of peaceful parkland, adjacent to Australia's premier high technology precinct.
Also located on campus is a Research Park – Australia's only privately-funded, on-campus research centre.
The campus is also across the road from the Macquarie Centre which has major retail stores, an ice-staking rink, supermarkets, a cinema complex and many cafés, restaurants and takeaway outlets.
There are many student accommodation options in the leafy suburb surrounding the University.
