Why Study in Australia

With a population drawn from so many different ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds, Australia is a multicultural land - diverse, tolerant and rich in contrasts. Australia is a safe, friendly, sophisticated and harmonious society in which students can learn and travel in an English speaking country.

Multicultural Classrooms

The multicultural nature of Australian society means international students are readily accepted by other students, and teachers are experienced in teaching classes to students from many countries. Australia has an international reputation for excellence in all areas of education and training and we value the wealth of cultural diversity and social sophistication that international students bring to our campuses and our communities.

Excellent Graduates

Australian universities are widely recognised for excellence in many disciplines and universities deliver practical and career-oriented training so graduates can be confident they have the skills demanded by employers. Australia's reputation as an innovative and research-intensive culture attracts many international students as well as its reputation for adopting new technologies at a faster rate than most other countries and entered the new millennium with one of the highest rates of internet access in the world.

All Australian universities are considered "accredited" and are closely monitored by the Australian Government which has a strong commitment to the provision of quality higher education. All but 2 of the 39 universities are public institutions and are government funded.

A Second Home for International Students

Australia has emerged as a leader in providing opportunities for international students, with more than 240,000 international students studying in Australia in 2006. We take great care in looking after international students and helping them to adjust to the Australian way of life.
