Accepted Delegates

Delegates accepted to the Global Leadership Symposium will be provided with full information via email regarding their specific trip. The following is a guide to the support provided.

Accepted delegates will be contacted regularly via email and will have access to GLP staff members who can guide them in preparing for their upcoming trip.

Each enrolled GLP students is allocated a GLP Advisor to assist them during their enrolment. Your advisor can be contacted for guidance on meeting the program requirements. All delegates are also issues with a GLP Guide (handbook) for their specific trip.

Pre-Departure Training includes an online activity that all delegates must complete, to familiarise themselves with the issues and cultures encountered on the trip. Delegates traveling to the GLSS international events will also participate in a face-to-face training session covering specific logistical information as well as cultural expectations and learning goals.

Each symposium will be accompanied by experienced university staff on hand to support the logistics of the trip and for student assistance.

Post-Symposium

Arrangements will be made for each delegation, upon returning, to share their experiences with the university community and for the individual delegates to reevaluate and reflect on their learning goals.

Certificates of Participation will be awarded to all delegates.
