As young professionals, Macquarie graduates will increasingly be working in international contexts. Against the background of globalisation – the transfer of ideas, cultures, products, media and people across national borders – you will need to understand, adapt to and practice concepts that professionals ten years ago could not have imagined.
Leadership, citizenship and cross cultural understanding have taken on new meanings and have become essential knowledge for professional practice in a globalised world.
The Global Leadership Program (GLP) is offered to domestic and international onshore students at Macquarie, illustrating a commitment by Macquarie to internationalisation and to the competencies of Macquarie graduates. Importantly, the GLP is relevant to students from any discipline of study – whether it be arts, humanities, business, technology, science or law.
"The GLP provides the basis for becoming an informed and knowledgeable citizen of the global village we live in, through workshops and overseas experiences. The opportunity to get out of Australia and discover different cultures and backgrounds is a great component of the program and for anyone interested in leadership, traveling and different cultures, or for those who are keen to be better informed about the world we live in, I highly recommend this program."
Anthony, Bachelor of Business Administration/Bachelor of Economics

The GLP adds value to your Macquarie experience by providing:
