Alumni are encouraged to stay involved with the program beyond their time at Macquarie.
Alumni are welcome to attend the twice annual GLP Distinguished Speaker Series. The series may continue to offer them insight into leadership and varying professional areas. The series is currently held off-campus and details of upcoming events will be emailed to all alumni.
GLP alumni have the opportunity to continue obtaining international insight and experience through the Global Leadership Syposium Series, a program of international events that rotates region and are typically held twice a year. Each symposium travels to a region (including Asia, Europe or the Americas) and typically includes visits in more than one country. The itinerary contains elements of a conference and study tour, with meetings organised with companies and NGOs that provide insight into trends and issues of that region. The symposia also include a service learning (volunteering) component for a few days, allowing delegates to gain some hands-on practice dealing with regional issues.
Alumni will participate with delegates from around the world, including current students. Details of upcoming events in the series can be obtained by visiting the symposia web pages.
The GLP is interested in making connections with industry and promoting our students to employers. If your employer is interested in establishing a partnership with the Macquarie Global Leadership Program, please contact GLP staff.

Alumni are encouraged to stay in touch with Macquarie through its international online newspaper, The Macquarie Globe. The Globe also welcomes GLP graduates to contact the Editor regarding their career and achievements since leaving Macquarie.
Each year, the GLP will survey alumni to find out about what they are currently doing. This enables Macquarie to track the success of GLP graduates in international fields. Alumni will receive an email with a link to the online survey, when it is being conducted.
