See why Gurvansh chose Macquarie

Flexibility was one of the major attractions of coming to Macquarie University for Gurvansh Bhatia.

“As I had a cadetship with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, I needed to study somewhere flexible that offered day and evening classes,” explains Gurvansh.

“Also Macquarie University has a reputation for commerce in the industry and is highly rated.”

Gurvansh is now in his final year of his Bachelor of Commerce - Accounting and has found his classes “really helpful and relevant. It gives me the theory behind what is practiced at work.”

As well as study, Gurvansh has become an active member of the Macquarie community, becoming involved in a wide range of social activities.

“It’s important to have fun in your degree. Clubs and societies are a handy way to get to know people on campus, interact, learn and to ensure you have a balanced experience.”
