See why Anna chose Macquarie University

Having travelled from an early age, Anna Raymi from Spain has always had a taste for international experiences.

“One of the highlights of my degree has been living in Sydney, and the surroundings of Macquarie are beautiful,” says Anna.

“I also like the weather and the people are so friendly.”

After beginning her career in finance and banking, Anna wanted to shift her career into development and social justice.

“I would like the opportunity to work for government and non-government organisations (NGOs), that’s my goal,” says the Master of International Relations student.

Anna has been impressed by the course. “I like the program very much. I have learnt about international law. That’s what I needed because I don’t have a background in law. Overall I am happy with the program.”

“The lecturers help me even outside of office hours.  There is no bureaucracy between the teachers and the students. Teachers are easy-going and give you career advice.”
