Is the internship a unit?

Yes, you must complete the internship as a unit for academic credit.

The internship unit is offered in:

• Semester 1 March – July
• Semester 2 August – November

Key information:

• All internships are unpaid. You are unable to receive remuneration because the internship is a university subject.
• The internship unit includes academic assessments that contribute to your final subject result.
• You do not need a work visa to complete an internship.
• Professional development workshops are offered to assist internship students.

You must nominate one of the following study options:

Study abroad or exchange students	3 credit point unit 120 hours total - 10 hours/week over 12 weeks, OR 6 credit point unit 240 hours total - 20 hours/week over 12 weeks
Master students	4 credit point unit 180 hours total - 15 hours/week over 12 weeks
