Symposium (definition):
Macquarie’s Global Leadership Symposium Series is an intensive experience where delegates are exposed to leadership, cultures and international issues. It is a multidisciplinary program which includes perspectives from fields as diverse as business, politics, arts, science, and education.
Delegates come with a desire to travel and learn about other cultures; an open mind to learning about fields other than their own; and a desire to take the experiences of the symposium and contextualise them for understanding of their own field of work or study.
The series includes an Australian event and a program of international events held in various regions of the world.
All students and recent graduates, whether from Macquarie or not, are welcome to apply for these events. Previous participants have included undergraduate and postgraduate students; students from Australian and International universities; exchange and study abroad students; recent graduates and alumni.
