Cross Cultural Practicum
Students will engage in one cross cultural, internationally focused practical experience as part of their Global Leadership Program. This experience can be undertaken at any stage during enrolment in the GLP and students are able to apply for funding through the Vice Chancellor's Travel Grant Scheme, for a number of activities.
Students must complete at least one of the following:
| Attending an approved Macquarie short course or study tour |
| Attending a GLP-run Global Leadership Symposium - International |
| Undertaking 40 hours of cross cultural volunteering in Australia or overseas |
| Undertaking 40 hours of a cross cultural unpaid internship in Australia or overseas |
| Attending 2 domestic conferences subject to approval by GLP staff PLUS 10 hours of cross cultural volunteering in Australia or overseas |
In order to obtain recognition for the experience completed, PG GLP students will need to complete a claim form and submit it to GLP staff.
