How to Accept an Offer (UAC)

 Congratulations on receiving your offer from Macquarie University.


International students who have applied through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) need to complete the following steps to accept their offer.

To commence your degree in Session 2, 2012, you must accept your offer within 14 days from the date of the Offer of Admission letter, or before 5pm Wednesday 11 July 2012 whichever is earlier.

  1. Click here to retrieve your Macquarie Student ID   
  2. Download, complete and sign the Acceptance of the offer and the Payment and eCoE form  (PDF - 113KB)
  3. Pay your Commencement Fee and your Overseas Student Health Cover (optional if already have valid OSHC) using one of the payment methods detailed below:
    1. via StudentPay system from outside of Australia: StudentPay system by Western Union Business Solutions allows students to pay your fees outside Australia in foreign currency. Simply go to https://s15.bbtranz.com/xpay.bsp?merchant=NFnWb5OMselect your language and follow the instructions 
    2. by credit card using a 24 hour telephone service (ph 1300 301 043) or by B-Pay (Biller Code: 50443 Reference number: Student ID)
    3. by bank draft or bank cheque
    4. in person to the Cashier's office at Macquarie University, North Ryde campus
  4. Email the following documents to Macquarie International at UACAdmissions@mq.edu.au :
    1. The UAC letter of offer with the Course Offer Summary
    2. Completed Acceptance of the Offer form
    3. Completed Payment and eCoE request form
    4. Evidence of your payment
    5. If you have an existing OSHC policy, evidence of OSHC covering full duration of Student Visa

        OR 

         Mail (post) the original documentation to the following address:

YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL OF THE ABOVE STEPS

Macquarie University will issue an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) ONLY upon receipt of ALL of the above documents and verification of payment.

IMPORTANT - International students who are under the age of 18 years and who will be studying on a student visa are required by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) to have care and accommodation provided by:

  • a parent
  • a suitable nominated relative, or
  • the University (represented by Macquarie International)
