Dunmore Lang College
Dunmore Lang College is a co-educational college with fully furnished study bedrooms on single sex and mixed corridors.
The 240 residents have the opportunity to mix with both undergraduate and postgraduate students of different nationalities and cultures.
20 meals per week are provided. Fees are payable by the academic term (four payments per year).
Three styles of accommodation are available at the College:
- Single bedroom with private ensuite bathroom (Miller & Doust wings 36 rooms);
- Single bedroom sharing ensuite bathroom with one other resident (Miller & Doust wings 24 rooms); and
- Single bedroom sharing communal bathroom facilities (McCredie & Mansfield wings 200 rooms).
Bedrooms in the McCredie & Mansfield wings comprise the following:
- Bed, pillow, blankets, sheets, pillow case
- Study desk, chair and lamp
- Bookshelf and notice board
- Wardrobe and bookcase/shelves
- Telephone with voicemail facility
- Carpet, curtains and fly-screens
- Basin and mirror
- Electric heater, electric fan, and automatic cut-off kettle
- Internet and data link to the university
- Lockable cupboard
Bedrooms in the Miller & Doust wings comprise most of the above as well as:
- Balcony (40 rooms)
- Refrigerator (all rooms)
The communal College facilities include:
- Courtyard with BBQ
- Dining Hall
- A large common room with pool table and table tennis table
- Senior common room with television
- Grand and upright piano
- Electric organ

Activities
“O” Week is the first function for the college calendar, packed with activities to help students meet each other and find out important information about life in DLC and on campus.
Students have their own representative organization in the College called the Association of Dunmore Students (ADS) which together with College management organizes various events and activities throughout the year, including:

Each year the College appoints a number of students to the position of Resident Tutor. Resident Tutors are usually postgraduate students or successful later year undergraduate students. Resident Tutors oversee the general well-being of residents on their floor and in doing so promote the harmonious co-existence of residents in their area. They are also responsible for actively organizing study sessions and providing valuable study skills essential to university study
